Sarah Odum is an artist and collaborator, interested in the interplay of people and landscapes, aiming to notice humans in their given environment (natural or manmade). She gives heightened attention to sensory details, allowing the candid subjects in their element inform her work, which involves waiting, noticing, and grounding in each moment. She leans into curiosity of human experience through careful observation of land and human shapes—how they fill a space.
She works primarily with film photography, curating in the moment — a tactile process of motion, suspense and patience.
All photos on this site are shot on 35mm film and are unedited.
